Day 1: Arava Border / Wadi Rum Camel Trek / Wadi Rum Camp
09:00 meet & assist at Arava Border (Jordan side). 1 hr transfer to protected area of Wadi Rum. Meet your camel & guide to start the trek to Lawrence's Spring, Wadi Um Ishrin then to the famous sand dune area. Continue to ancient Anfashiyeh inscriptions, cross over to Um Rashid Canyon & pass the Lawrence's House. Trek onwards the camp for dinner & overnight at a tent. 
No visa on arrival at Arava Border. Book & send complete passport details of all guests at least 72 hours prior arrival for us to arrange the visa for non-restricted nationalities. 
Suggested Camp: Rum Stars Camp or similar | Meals: Lunch Box, Dinner
 
Day 2: Wadi Rum jeep tour + short hike / Wadi Rum Camp
Start your 4x4 jeep tour to Nabatean Temple where you have the opportunity to observe the ancient ruins, to the majestic Qataar Spring, here you can easily climb a nearby rock formation with one of the best views of the vast landscape. View one of the most interestingly shaped rock formations, called "The Cow Rock" then continue to the Barrah Canyon for lunch stop & rest. Optional short trek through the canyon about 1 kilometer. Drive to the base of the mountain holding the Jebel Burdah Rock Bridge then to Um Fruth Bridge & Khazali Canyon. Last to the most magnificent locations atop a red sand dune, here you watch the legendary Wadi Rum sunset. Transfer to camp for dinner & overnight.

Day 3: Wadi Rum / Petra Tour / Petra Hotel
After breakfast, transfer 1.5 hrs to Petra, established around 6th century B.C. by Nabataean Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area. Start your guided tour from main gate, then pass the canyon until you reach the Treasury monument. Proceed through the Street of Facades, Royal Tombs & Pharaoh's Castle. Free time to explore Petra on your own, overnight in Petra.

Day 4: Petra Hotel / Little Petra / Shobak Castle / Arava Border
After breakfast transfer to the bizarre landscape of Little Petra, you see here the miniature Petra with its modest Siq leading you to an area of carved tombs & monuments. Continue to Shobak to visit an ancient Crusader Castle. Transfer to Arava Border for departure.

  • Recommended: comfortable walking shoes, small backpack for bottled water, camera.
  • 4x4s in Wadi Rum desert are old vehicles with no A/C. 
  • For camp stays bring torch light, toiletries and if you are picky a sleeping sheet.  
  • Tour Guides in Petra are licensed by Ministry of Tourism and not part of our team.
  • We are not responsible to the immigration process at the border.

For credit cards, remaining balance is auto charge to the same card 7 days prior arrival, for wire transfer payment have to be process 14 days prior arrival. Please read our booking conditions. Initially I was nervous about traveling to Jordan but my husband convinced me and so he contacted Booking Joran and planned a 4-day trip. Upon arrival into Jordan we were greeted by our driver . He was very kind and very welcoming and friendly. I was even more impressed to see we were going to be riding in a Brand New vehicle. I can not describe how great this trip was. Our guide went above and beyond to make sure our trip was memorable. And that was exactly what it was. He took us places that we hadn't planned. He was always on time and always very patient. Because he is so knowledgeable we learned so many new things about Biblical history. His passion for educating us on the history of Jordan was very impressive as well. He gave us tips on photo opts that produced some amazing pictures and videos we will cherish forever. We are already planning to return to Jordan very soon.
