08:00 pick up lobby Dead Sea hotel, the driver has a signage in your name. Begin your introductory tour in Amman, spreading over 20 hills, first you visit Citadel where you have a panoramic view of the traditional part of the city, here you will see the Temples of Hercules, Umayyad Palace and the Archaeological Museum. Head to the Roman Theatre from 2nd century. Stroll along the traditional souqs and see Jabal Amman with its 19th century houses.
Travel about 50 kms north to the well preserved Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East, the Jerash, here you visit the Oval Plaza, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis. After your tour return to your hotel at the Dead Sea.  
Tour Duration: about 8 hours

My wife and I booked a day tour from Amman to Petra from our hotel. Our driver, Basel was on time and very professional. He took good care of us and was waiting at the gate at Petra when we exited and brought the car up to where we were waiting. The car was very clean and comfortable and he picked a good place to stop half way. Cristina at the office arranged our trip and she allowed us to have more time in Petra with no extra charge. Our Petra guide was a fountain of knowledge and very patient with us. His enthusiasm made Petra that much more enjoyable. All thoroughly recommended.
