Day 1: Amman Airport / Amman City / Amman Hotel
Meet & greet at Amman Airport after you exit the customs; the driver has a sign in your name. Tour Jordan's capital Amman, explore the Citadel with the remains of the Umayyad Palace & Hercules Temple. Next to Roman Theatre  & the traditional souqs. Drive in Jabal Amman with its 19th century houses, then to the modern part of the city Abdoun. Transfer to Amman Hotel, rest of the day is free.
 
Day 2: Amman Hotel / Madaba / Mt Nebo / Dead Sea / Petra Hotel
Drive to Madaba, to St George Church to view the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine. Transfer to Mt. Nebo the place where Prophet Moses gazed at the Promised Land before he died. Continue to the Dead Sea, one of the most incredible places in the world, here you have free time and the chance to float on water. Continue 3 hours to Petra, check in & overnight.

Day 3: Petra Tour / Petra Hotel
Today you discover the the biggest attraction of Jordan, Petra which was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs. With your private local guide you will see the Siq, Treasury, Street of Facades, Royal Tombs & Pharaoh's Castle. Free time to explore on your own. Overnight Petra.

Day 4: Petra Hotel / Amman Airport
Depending to your departure 3 hours transfer back to Amman Airport to say goodbye.

  • Check in time at hotels: 14:00. Check out time at hotels: 12:00 noon.
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring sun protection. 
  • For Dead Sea don't forget swimwear, flip flops or water sandals.

Amazing guides and an amazing time for my short trip to Amman and Petra. I wanted to reach my goal of visiting all of the new world wonders, and BookingJordan made it happen, seamlessly. We did have some driving, but it seemed like no time at all as we shared stories and experiences. BookingJordan really did make this trip one of my best ever.
